Our applications do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:
- No analytics: We don't use tracking scripts or analytics services
- No cookies: Our websites don't use cookies
- No telemetry: Our desktop applications don't phone home
- No accounts: No registration or login required
Local Processing
All Cubby tools process data locally on your device:
- Cubby Remote: Communicates with Cubase on your local network only
- CubbyScore Analyzer: Processes MusicXML files entirely on your computer
- CubbyScore Converter: Converts PDFs locally using bundled software
Network Usage
Cubby Remote requires local network access to communicate between your iPad/tablet and your computer running Cubase. This communication stays within your local network and never reaches external servers.
Our websites may load fonts from Google Fonts, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Open Source
All Cubby tools are open source. You can review the code yourself to verify our privacy practices.
Third-Party Services
CubbyScore Converter bundles the following open-source software:
- Audiveris: Optical music recognition engine (AGPL-3.0 license)
- music21: Music analysis toolkit (BSD license)
These tools run locally and do not transmit data externally.
